does anyone does know the name of the "nameless opshop" below ... let me know in the comments below. speculation on what it would be named, or what you would name it is also welcome!
its the experience of going to an op-shop. whether somewhere like chapel or smith st - or just your local op-shop run by lovely old lavender smelling ladies. it's one of those experiences that takes time to carefully go through all the clothes and to absorb the old/obscure music and musky smell.
so this blog is like a little library of my op-shop experiences. i'll endeavour to go to a different one around melbourne each week. commenting on the quality, variety and rarity of clothes and items, music, atmosphere, local food and pt (public transport.) i don't really believe in rating things, especially since most op-shops/vintage stores are run by volunteers/minimally paid people.
melbourne has such a unique culture of recycling and reusing things - i'd love recommendations on places to go or op-shop identities to see and speak too!
